GAA Primary Challenges
The GAA has announced that it is providing a series of learning and physical activities for children in primary schools. The #GAAPrimary Challenges are designed to help teachers and parents to work on cross-curricular lesson plans with children to meet their learning needs. Gaelic games-themed lessons are across all curriculum subjects and are for children at every class level, based on the GAA Céim ar Aghaidh/Step Ahead resource. https://learning.gaa.ie/primary-school |

www.mathsweek.ie/2019/ In response to Covid-19 MathsWeek.ie have made their resources available for pupils that are at home during the school closures. These recreational maths activities are a great way to keep the brain sharp, learn and have fun. Among these they have a "Puzzle of the Day" every day as well as fun card games that all the family can enjoy.

Visit www.helpmykidlearn.ie/ This excellent website has lots of interactive and age appropriate games. The website was developed as part of the National Strategy to Improve Literacy and Numeracy among Children and Young People by the Department of Education and Skills.

Scoilnet.ie has a wealth of resources aimed at teachers and parents alike. They have full lesson plans as well as printables and other digital resources.

Starfall.com is an excellent resource to use with Junior Infants-3rd class for Literacy and Maths. While some of their resources and games require a paid membership, much of their website is free.
