Music at Our School
At our school, we are proud to nurture a love for music and the performing arts among our students. Music plays an integral role in our curriculum and extracurricular activities. Ms. Keenan leads tin whistle lessons for our senior classes, helping students develop their skills and appreciation for traditional Irish music. Mr. Keane offers after-school guitar lessons, giving students the opportunity to explore a new instrument in a relaxed and supportive environment. Ms. Callan teaches the choir, preparing students for beautiful performances during our Christmas services, while Ms. Halpenny brings Irish culture to life with Ceilí dancing lessons in preparation for St. Patrick’s Day. We also celebrate the season with annual Christmas performances, where students showcase their talents through plays and songs. Through these activities, we aim to inspire creativity, confidence, and a lifelong enjoyment of music and performance.
